Fone joined our team in July 2022, bringing extensive experience in the financial and insurance sectors. As our Insurance and Client Service Coordinator, she oversees the administration of insurance policies, including applications, renewals, policy changes, and claims support. She also manages client communications, schedules appointments, prepares meeting materials, processes trades, and maintains accurate account records. Her insurance knowledge, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills ensure smooth operations, exceptional service, and lasting client relationships.

Fone holds an MBA from a prestigious Thai university and has diverse industry experience, including running a restaurant in Cape Town and working in the hospitality, travel, and oil & gas sectors. Before moving to Canada, she served as a Senior Advisor at a Fortune Global 500 company, one of the world’s largest human resources and temporary staffing providers.

In her leisure time, Fone and her husband, Chris, enjoy taking walks, honing their golfing skills at the driving range, exploring diverse culinary experiences – particularly Thai and Japanese cuisines – and cruising around Victoria in his cherished 1972 MG.

Desiree Bongcahig

Desiree serves as the Administrative Services Coordinator at Little & Davies and is instrumental in ensuring the efficient operation of the company. She oversees office activities, manages client inquiries, and provides essential administrative support to the team. Her diverse background, combining expertise in hospitality with business administration knowledge, enhances our approach to client service and financial management.

Committed to continuous professional development, Desiree earned a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Victoria and completed the Canadian Investment Funds Course Certification. Prior to coming to Canada, Desiree earned a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and accumulated over ten years of experience in the hospitality industry, including five years in the cruise industry. During the Covid-19 pandemic, she transitioned from the cruise sector to explore small retail and farming businesses in her home country.

Outside of work, Desiree is an avid traveler who has visited many countries. She loves immersing herself in nature, taking long drives, stargazing, and getting creative with cooking and sewing.
